Bespoke Disabled Access Door
The challenge for our team was to create a suitable door to fully enable access for people with wheelchairs and baby buggy prams and to improve access for all other users of the building. The existing old single glazed soft wood doors were not suitable.
Solution
Kings Cross Joinery created, supplied and fitted a superb wide access door to complement the quality exclusive nature of the exterior development of the building entrance.
Benefit
This door is easy to maintain and is now a safe convenient entry for everybody entering and leaving. A hinged door closes quicker and is more difficult to open and enter so smooth automatic opening with motion sensor closing detection will help. People using motorised scooters and walkers will find access easier. A disabled access door is convenient for all including children and those who walk slower and don’t have the strength to open doors. Achieve a more attractive look with a new exterior access door. People with disabilities are more likely to visit you if it is easier and safer for them to come and go. Contact Kings Cross Joinery to discuss your exact requirements and we’ll help from start to finish.
